RUNWAY 7 IT’S SHOW TIME NOW…

THEME

Yoko Creations presents the collection based on the story SOULMATE.

A soulmate is a person with whom one has a feeling of deep affinity. This may involve understanding, strength, motivation, love, romance, adoration, platonic relationship, comfort, intimacy, spirituality and trust.

The folds and drapes lyrically transcend the art of craft itself. Intricate details, fluid drapes and exquisitely – crafted textile.

The Indian dialogue of drape, cultural identity is a predominant form developed over millennia. This collection is simplified for contemporary context, without relying on surface ornamentation.

MATERIAL

Georgette and Muslin material we used in our designs. Both materials are known for their beautiful texture, smoothness, fine quality and falls.

COLORS

All pastel colors tint and shades we used in our designs.

WORK

Five different pattern of handmade block print with five different color mode used with some embroidery enhancement. Also, A traditional hand and machine work pattern.

ACCESSORIES

We have assembled the designs with beautiful Turban as a headgear which is a tradition in India, also considered to be a symbol of honor and pride.

SILHOUETTES & HEMLINE

Flared silhouettes are going to be used in the designs. Two types of hemlines, short one with leg exposed and other one with a floor length hemline with feet covered.
